BOYD ARCHITECTS LLC is an architecture studio based in Charleston, SC specializing in modern design.
Lucas Boyd was born and raised on the Canadian prairies. He is a graduate of the Yale School of Architecture and has been the recipient of numerous awards for both his research and design work including the Fulbright Scholarship and the J.B.C. Watkins Award for Architecture. Lucas has worked on projects of all scales in offices in Toronto, the Netherlands, and New York City. He is a licensed Architect in the state of South Carolina and serves as a member on Charleston’s Design Review Board (DRB).
Rachel Boyd is a native of South Carolina. She obtained her undergraduate degree in Architecture from Clemson University where she graduated summa cum laude with highest honors. Rachel went on to complete her Master of Architecture degree at Yale University. Among her awards are the Clemson Faculty Scholarship Award, the Robert Miller Award, and the Yale University Merit Scholarship. She has worked in offices on high profile projects in the Netherlands, New York City, and South Carolina.
